COVID-19

Dear valued customer,

Following government advise recently regarding hotels and holiday sites reopening from the 4th of July we will be looking to reopen on the 29th of June. Following this we are putting measures in place to keep both our employees and all our customers as safe as possible. We thought of several methods to avoid problems in the best way during this difficult time, we hope you can understand these temporary measures we will be taking. We will continue to monitor the situation and if need be we will make adjustments.

Measures in laundry

Following these new measures we ask that all laundry brought to us must be placed into water soluble bags, these can be bought directly from us (in packs of 20 or 50) or can be found online however these bags are in high demand and may be difficult to buy at this time. We urge everyone to contact us ASAP if you would like to order them.

These bags should then be tied using string which is stuck to each bag then these bags need to be placed into our yellow hamper bags as we are unable to label the red bags; you will be able to place around 4 red bags into our yellow bags. The red bags are able to fit around one bed set or a set of towels for two people.

For safety measures our staff will receive the necessary PPE as well as at the beginning and end of each shift we will be monitoring and recording their temperature.

All laundry given to us will lay untouched for at least 72 hours before washing. If you require a large duvet to be washed we ask that these be put into a separate bag (as they may be too large for the red ones) and we will leave these for 96 hours before washing. Additionally, laundry will be washed, tumble dried and pressed at temperatures which the virus cannot live past to ensure customer safety.

Collecting/dropping off in person

If you are collecting and/or dropping off at our unit then we will only be allowing one person in the reception at any one time. The reception will be regularly cleaned and disinfected to keep everyone safe and there will be hand sanitiser provided for anyone to use. We ask anyone coming in to please stay in the reception and not to go into the working area.

We will also be requiring that any laundry given to us is packed into soluble bags, if you are short on these then simply ask and we will provide bags for you to pack your laundry into. We will also be asking that when packing your bags to please do so outside (i.e. in the car).

Deliveries

As we prepare to return to our normal delivery schedules, we can ensure that the van will be disinfected before each trip. Clean and dirty laundry within the van will be stored separate from each other to avoid contamination between them. All laundry we collect must be packed in the red bags, tied using string attached then put into our yellow hamper bags as we are unable to label the red bags, approximately 4-5 red bags should fit into a big yellow bag. We will be unable to collect laundry that is not prepared as stated above.

Sorry for any inconveniences this may cause, but we hope you can be understanding at this time. These measures are for our, your and your guests safety in mind.
